If you are a user (applicant) and having trouble with a verification request on MeasureOne, please find common questions and answers below.
GENERAL
What is MeasureOne?
MeasureOne is a tech company that provides verification data to organizations. We are not the background screening company, financial institution, etc. that is requesting information from you.
Why am I being asked to provide my login credentials?
MeasureOne provides a safe and secure way for you to share your information with the requesting organization solely for verification purposes. We do not share your login credentials with any other party and we only share the requested verification data--nothing more. If you use apps like Venmo or Paypal, you've probably done something similar by connecting your bank with those apps.
Why do I keep getting an "invalid credentials" error?
Please make sure that you are inputting your correct credentials by inputting the same login credentials directly into the website (e.g. payroll website for employment/income verification, school website for education verification, etc.). If your credentials don't work there, it won't work on MeasureOne so you can reset your password and try the new login credentials on MeasureOne.
If you've verified that your login credentials are valid by testing them directly on the website, then there may be an error on our end. Please email support@measureone.com with the website URL where you've tested your login credentials and our tech team will make the necessary updates so that you can successfully connect. We will email you once we've made the updates.
Why am I seeing the error screen "The connection could not be established"?
This can mean a lot of things. Sometimes you can input the correct credentials and our system can't connect to your account. We will have to investigate so please email support@measureone.com so that we can look into it.
My link has expired, can you send me a new link?
MeasureOne can't send you a new link so please contact the requesting organization (e.g. background screening company, financial institution, property management company, etc.) directly to request a new link.
Why did I receive multiple emails from MeasureOne?
The requesting organization is requesting you to verify multiple employers and/or schools. Please read each email carefully because they pertain to different verifications.
Why is your system giving me an error when I am inputting my correct credentials?
We apologize for the inconvenience. Our tech team will take a look. Please email support@measureone.com with the URL (web address) where you access your paystubs or your school transcript.
Your system is saying the code was sent to my phone or DUO app but I don't see it.
MeasureOne doesn't control where the code is sent because this is a setting on your payroll or school account. If you want to change where the code is sent, you must log into those websites directly and change those settings. After that, you can come back to MeasureOne and try to connect your account again.
EMPLOYMENT AND/OR INCOME VERIFICATION REQUESTS
My employer does not or did not use a payroll system with a login.
In this case, you can skip choosing an employer and try following the instructions after you click "upload documents instead". If you are not able to upload documents, you can ignore this request--the requesting organization will verify you using other means.
I can't find my employer on your list.
You can also search for the payroll system for your employer to connect to complete the request.
I can't find my employer or my payroll system on your list.
You can click "Try another way" at the bottom of the screen to go back to the menu and choose "Upload documents". You will see instructions on what to upload after you click on that link.
If you don't see the "Try another way" link, you can ignore this request and the requesting organization will verify you using other means. There is no need to contact MeasureOne or the hiring company regarding this verification request.
I don't have a login for my payroll/earnings account.
Why is your system not accepting my paystub uploads?
MeasureOne can only accept PDFs of your paystubs that are less than 5 MB in size. If you are getting this error, you're probably trying to upload pictures of your paystubs that we can't accept. Please log into your payroll system, download the paystubs as PDFs and then upload them to MeasureOne. You may also be trying to upload your paystubs from a virtual drive like Google Drive which won't work. Please upload your paystubs directly from your system.
I downloaded my EDR from Equifax but my employer is not showing up on the report. What do I do?
Your employer may not show up on the EDR because Equifax didn't receive the data from the employer. If you also could not connect to your employer's payroll system on MeasureOne, no further action is required of you. The requesting organization will verify you using other means.
EDUCATION VERIFICATION REQUESTS
It's been a long time since I've graduated and I either don't have a login or forgot my password.
You can try to click "Forgot username/password" to retrieve your login and enter them into MeasureOne.
If you no longer have a login but have a copy of your transcript, you can click "Try another way" at the bottom of the screen to go back to the menu and choose "Upload documents" to upload your transcript.
If you don't see that link or don't have a copy of your transcript, you can ignore this request and the requesting organization will verify you using other means. There is no need to contact MeasureOne or the hiring company regarding this verification request.
